               VOLUNTEERS WANTED 
   Drymen Show is looking for new volunteers to help in the run up and on the day of the Show.
Please consider helping as it can be a lot of fun.
   We need fresh blood and it could be you and you don't need to come from a farming or country background.
   All we look for are willing helpers who are interested in carrying the show forward.

Schools Competition Tent

 Drymen Show, 30th May 2015.
 Drymen Show is held in a beautiful scenic area at the Showfield, Drymen Bridge on the A811 near Drymen thanks to the kind permission of the owner Mr J D Bilsland, Croftamie. 
 The main schedules/entry forms for Agricultural & Light Horse Sections are online. 
 Please can we ask, if you find you are having to put in a late entry on the morning of the show, that you help us make it as smooth for you as possible. (Can you download relevant forms, FILL IN and bring with CORRECT MONEY ready to hand over at the secretary's tent ASAP on arrival)
then you can get back to preparing you animals for showing.

 [The entries are starting to come in and we have 37 Cattle; 26 Clydesdales, Heavy Horse Turnouts and Highland Ponies; 148 Sheep (42 Zwartbles; 34 Blackface: 20 Texel & 6 other breeds hopefully) plus and 18 Vintage Tractors and Machinery with 1 week to go].
We have Trade Stands, a Craft Tent; local inter-schools competitions and jnr
football. The SWRI tent with baking; sewing; knitting and flower arrangements with many other skills on show and for the first time ever

The Fun Fair will be there for you to enjoy and there are a variety of stalls selling food and drink and the pets corner where kiddies can meet some animals.

This year we have a virtual driving range for all the budding golfers.
We are looking forward to seeing all our regular and hopefully lots of new visitors on the day.

One for the family at Drymen Show...
Join the Dots Community Arts will be providing a range of fun art & craft activities including sand art, windmill making, bracelet design & dotty sticker pictures! There will also be the chance to have your face painted too!

Suitable for boys & girls aged 18 months & up. Mum & Dads are welcome to join in the fun too!
