AGRICULTURAL SOCEITY & DRYMEN SHOW WEBSIT
While this is our 200th Society year 2016 will be our 188th actual
show with the missing years due to two
World Wars and Foot and Mouth. Drymen
Show will be held this year on Saturday 28th May at the Show field, Drymen Bridge, Drymen.
Along with our usual
agricultural and light horse classes, where the best of livestock from across Scotland and beyond is shown and judged, we are delighted to host a range of other attractions
many of which are supported
by our local communities. These
- 200th Tent, where we will be celebrating all things Drymen Show and agriculture across thelast 200 years with a wide range of photos, trophies and other artifacts and the opportunity to learn more about how the show began.

Rural Tent, where you can see a range of skills from across a number of local associationsas
well as our Drymen Show Bake Off entries.
Tent, where you can see a fantastic array of art and literature work from across anumber of local
- Craft Tent,
where you can see and purchase a wide variety of craft work from varioussmall, local businesses.
- 5 A Side Football, where you can watch boys and girls from our local schools compete for he coveted trophies.
- Rabbit & Pets Tent, where you can see some of Scotland’s
best Rabbits being judged and
have the opportunity to pet them and other farm animals.
Vintage Tractors, where you can see a number of old tractors and implements from across the years.
- Trade Stands,
which will offer a wide and varied range of produce, products or entertainment
, some in the form of,
o RHET (Royal Highland Education Trust) where you
can learn more about food,farming and the countryside.
o Chainsaw Magic where you can
see and purchase some fantastic sculptures carved from
o KG Hawks
where you can see and have the opportunity to hold some spectacular birds of prey.
Join The Dots where you can have your face painted or take part in some art and crafts.
- Fun Fair, where the young at heart can enjoy the thrills of the
rides and stalls.
- Band Stand, where a number of local bands will entertain us across the course of the day.

well as all the above we have a packed main ring entertainment agenda, which is supported throughout the day by Strathendrick Pipe Band and this year includes a fantastic re-enactment of how our Society was created with agriculture examples from over
the last 200 years as well as Pig Racing
courtesy of Craigievern Poultry. All of this will take place in between our usual livestock judging, parade and prize giving, heavy horse turnouts, vintage tractor display and
races and tug o war, always fun for the family.
