SWI (Rural) and Open Class Schedules & Entry Details 


SWI (Rural) Schedule

Drymen Show wouldn't be the show it is without the fantastic displays of creativity and skills on show in our SWI (Rural) Tent.

For members of our 4 local SWI's; Drymen, Gartocharn, Buchlyvie and Croftamie please see attached schedule for this year's show.

For all visitors make sure you pop in before or after judging to see the exhibits and join in their raffle.

Children's SWI (Rural) Classes

Drymen Show is delighted to host the SWRIs of Buchlyvie, Croftamie, Drymen and Gartocharn in our Rural Tent where you can see a vast array of fabulous baking and crafts being shown and competed.

This year we are delighted to have the children's classes again which are free to enter for any child who has a member of the family who is a member of the above SWIs.

The classes this year are 
50. Garden On A Plate - maximum 8"  – Pre School Children only
51. Vegetable Animal – Children aged 5-7 years old only
52. Musical Instrument Created From Junk- Children aged 8-12 years old only

All entries must be in the tent by 9.30am for judging upon which the tent will be open to the public again at 1pm with the presentation of prizes at 3.30pm followed by a raffle.

Drymen Show Open Classes
​Free To Enter For Anyone Who Isn't A SWI / Rural Member

Calling all budding bakers, floral arrangers and crafters whatever your age and wherever you're from.

Drymen Show is delighted to announce our  3 Open classes again this year
Bake Off - 3 x Decorateed Cup Cakes
Floral Art - Arrangement Of 3 Blooms
Craft - Cushion In Any Craft


To  register your interest (so we make enough room in the Rural Tent) please email drymenshow@outlook.com with the name of the class you'd like to enter in the subject header and your intention to enter.

Then on show day bring along your entry, with a sealed envelope containing your name, address and contact number attached to it, to the Rural Tent before 9.30am. Any later and you must be leave your entry at the door.

You’ll have your entry judged at 2pm by ladies from the WRI and be in with a chance of winning a lovely prize.
